MSN Game Zone reads my blog

As I recently reported, Cubis 2 has 20 levels. That seemed true until this weekend.

Now--randomly--instead of congratulating me at 20, it occaisonally just starts over with Level One, renamed as Level 21. What's up Microsoft? Why, Bill, why? There's no thrill in completion if you just cycle through again.

Give me new levels, or give me a sense of finality, completetion.

If the game is infinite, I can't make little promises that I'll start working "after I win." Where's the justice.

Everything's canceled. Hooray!

Today is a snow day, and I've completely squandered it.

I started the day with high hopes that being snow bound would encourage me to do the research that I've been putting off all semester, but somehow I have spent the day in other online pursuits. A few things I *have* learned:
  • Cubis 2 only has 20 levels. Yes, I have mastered them all. Thank god I now have at least one marketable skill.
  • Courtesy slate.com: The bacon alarm clock really does exist. Volkswagen has some crazy new ads. Cheese may lessen the flavor-intensity of red wine, but it's still a good combination.
  • Kathy Griffin refused to apologize for a Dakota Fanning-in-rehab joke. Good for her. Her reported non-apology is pretty funny too. As is most of Defamer. If I could only figure out those darned blind items...
