MSN Game Zone reads my blog

As I recently reported, Cubis 2 has 20 levels. That seemed true until this weekend.

Now--randomly--instead of congratulating me at 20, it occaisonally just starts over with Level One, renamed as Level 21. What's up Microsoft? Why, Bill, why? There's no thrill in completion if you just cycle through again.

Give me new levels, or give me a sense of finality, completetion.

If the game is infinite, I can't make little promises that I'll start working "after I win." Where's the justice.

dude. That sucks. That was the only reason I liked Cubis 2 over Cubis 1, the close ended nature.

Sometimes it does end at 20, sometimes it doesn't. Programming flaw? Dunno.

Rocket Mania is another good one. There are fireworks, and clever names at various levels of accomplishment. (I always appreciate that! I love shallow celebrations of merit.)

SD: you're so right, Faux does lie. And Game Zone can't read, even if it wanted to. But I can--and sometimes do--read Faux's blog. Too bad she doesn't write more often, eh?
